We call XORRECER RIBERA and we are a youth association in Spain and specifically in the region of Asturias (northern Spain).
We are a group of boys and girls between 16 and 25, and as the name of our association, XORRECER which means grow in the mother tongue of the region where we live, we are people who share the idea and the desire to grow aware the cultures of those countries with ties that bind us.
This association is interested in an exchange with other associations in order to experience other cultures as well as teaching part of ours. The fundamental idea of our project is to perform various physical activities, cultural and outdoor.
In short, we will conduct activities that allow us to familiarize ourselves with the corresponding culture of the country and also to enable closer ties between our culture and theirs.
The activities that we could enjoy a first approach would consist of the cultures and customs that distinguish us and unite us, and this can be done through traditional games, food, music, sporting traditions or visiting those places in the region are of utmost importance. Secondly, we would make sports activities in order to develop teamwork among young people.
We would make the exchange in August 2010. Of course, we accept all who want to offer opinions on other activities that the association wants to do.
