Key activities: Urban Logistics, Cross Docking, Green Cars. Innovative Modulation of Urban Logistics
The delivery trucks are being charged through a docking station. In the near future, the electricity which is needed for the truck, will be from solar cells from the roof of the company Cornelissen transport. The innovative aspect of this project is the sustainable transport chain from the supplier to the customers at home.
The Han University of Applied Science, logistics lectorate has a lot of experience in research/innovation in the logistics sector and in close cooperation with the companies in the Arnhem Nijmegen City Region. The HAN is very interested in European cooperation and is keen to meet new partners.
Key interests of cooperation in the Regions of Knowledge call on transport:
-ICT applications and ICT research for urban logistics
-Cooperation in research within a logistic cluster (especially between the University and the companies)
-Sustainable energy in urban logistics
-Sutainable supply chain in City Logistics
