GRUPPO IMPRESA FINANCE (GIF) is a North-Italian financial and management consulting company, specialized in project setting up and project management. Among our main interest areas there are energy, environment and regional development. Our projects and events in these fields range from local to European level. We offer professional consultancy and overall project management - from feasibility studies to project development and coordination - regarding regional, national and European projects, and support in dissemination and technology transfer actions to a large variety of clients: enterprises (mostly SMEs but also large ones), public utilities, local authorities (smaller and bigger ones), universities and research centers, etc. Having worked on a lot of energy related projects we have accumulated remarkable experience and a network of contacts in this field.
We work in strict collaboration with the local industrial association for which we are the main partner for consultancy in project development and project management, for the organization of training courses, informative events, knowledge transfer actions for the benefit of their associates, the local entrepreneurs.
We regularly collaborate with local authorities, mostly smaller ones, and their associations in our region, about territory development issues, including environmental and energy actions.
We also directly participate in European projects in the frame of which we can support the project management, we can carry out assessment, feasibility and state-of-the-art studies, technology transfer and dissemination activities and organize/manage trainings and informative events. As IEE is a promotion and information oriented program, we are willing to participate in energy actions which need to be supported on a local (Italian) level by an Italian partner. Our team consists of highly qualified professionals coming from diversified competency fields which enables us to cover quite a wide range of topics.
GIF experience in successful IEE projects: we were partner in the completed REDUBAR project about biogas (IEE 2005), we are management consultants of the lead partner of the SMART project (IEE 2006, about mini-hydro applications) and we are partner in the now starting ESOLi project (IEE 2009) about intelligent public lighting.
This time we do not intend to promote an IEE project ourselves, but we are interested in participating and we would be happy to take into consideration the possibility to join you in actions which could fit our expertise.
Therefore, if you have a project idea and you are working on establishing a consortium, we would be happy to take part in it. We also have a lot of contacts from other countries and networks so we could also help you in finding further participants.
