Please find attached the call for tenders for the role of European Coordinating Researcher for the project PESSIS: “Promoting employers’ social services organisations in social dialogue”.
The project is funded by the European Commission, DG Employment, under the call for proposals Social Affairs and Inclusion; Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue and aims at a better understanding of how social dialogue is organised and structured in the social sector in Europe through a mapping exercise across 11 countries.
The project is managed by EASPD, in partnership with eight other European Organisations representing social service providers (Caritas Europa, CEDAG, EPR, Epsu, Eurodiaconia, Feantsa, Solidar, Workability Europe) and ten partners representing NGOs from different European countries that will manage the mapping exercise at a national level.
The role of the European Coordinating Researcher will be to set up a methodological framework for the survey, coordinate and oversee the mapping exercise and produce a first European Summary Report, combining the different national reports with an with an introductory chapter providing background information on social dialogue in the sector and a final chapter providing draft conclusions.
He will also produce a Final European Report, focused on the outcomes of the research that will be used as a tool to improve the social dialogue in the social service sector. It will be a document of approximately 15 to 20 pages, highlighting all the different elements and best practices which might be useful to develop a framework for employers in the sector. It will contain the most significant information of the European Summary Report with conclusions and recommendations.
