Twinning: Support to Moldova in the field of norms and standards in food safety for plant origin
(a) The overall objective of this Twinning project is to support the development of agricultural and food sectors related to products of plant origin of Moldova in compliance with EU and international rules and to support the ability of these sectors to participate in international trade. It will aim at improving the capacity of the General Inspectorate for Phytosanitary Supervision and Seeds Control (GIPSSC) to define, plan organise and achieve their strategic and operational objectives by using EU compliant approaches which are risk-based and targeted at prevention.
(b) Geographical area: Moldova
(c) Maximum project duration: 18 months (implementation period)
Only Public Administrations and Mandated bodies as per Twinning Manual of European Union MS may apply through European Union MSs’ National Contact Points.
